Building an Inclusive Clinical studies ecosystem to Drive Health Equity in Europe.
The READI project is a public-private partnership funded by the Horizion Europe Inovatibve health Initiative (IHI). It aims to create a more comprehensive and inclusive ecosystem for clinical studies by ensuring participation of underserved and underrepresented (US/UR) populations.
The READI Project works to address inequities in clinical studies by creating a clinical studies ecosystem where US/UR populations, along with key stakeholders including patients, healthcare professionals, sites, patient organizations, regulatory agencies, Health Technology Assessment (HTAs), ethical committees and sponsors can fully participate and contribute.
This project is supported by the Innovative Health Initiative Joint Undertaking (IHI JU) under grant agreement No 101166227. The JU receives support from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme and COCIR, EFPIA, EuropaBio, MedTech Europe, Vaccines Europe, and Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency and Breakthrough T1D.
